We are happy to share some insights about Axonify drawn from our latest Value Index research, Ventana Research Value Index: Learning Management, which assesses how well vendors’ offerings meet buyers’ requirements.
In all of our Value Indexes we utilize a structured research methodology that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and vendor selection process for analytics and business intelligence. We evaluated Axonify and 13 other vendors in seven categories, five relevant to the product (Adaptability, Capability, Manageability, Reliability and Usability) and two related to the vendor (TCO/ROI and vendor Validation). To arrive at the Value Index rating for a given vendor, we weighted each category to reflect its relative importance in an RFP process, with the weightings based on our experience and on data derived from our Learning Management Benchmark Research.
Axonify provides a focus on its frontline learning management and is designed for organizations to train, reinforce, communicate and nudge workers to gain the skills required for their role without needing traditional classroom sessions.
Axonify was categorized as a Vendor of Merit, ranking 12th overall in this Value Index evaluation. It ranked 12th in Product Experience, and ranked ninth in Customer Experience. Its overall performance was impacted by its lower rankings in Reliability and TCO/ROI, which represent 25% of the weighting in the overall Value Index.
Our assessment finds that Axonify could perform better by examining its placement in Manageability in the area of Product Experience to better communicate how its product can be managed technologically by the business. In Product Experience, its 13th-place finish in the Reliability category impacted its overall placement in Product Experience. Axonify would do well to reexamine its ability for its systems to perform and scale reliably in support of the growth needs of its customers.
This assessment was based on Axonify 3.11.0 products available in October of 2022.
Axonify, like all vendors in this market, should ensure they meet the evolving needs and expectations of its buyers and customers for enterprise-wide learning and provide it where and when workers need it as part of their work.
