CloudPay is Vendor of Assurance in Global Payroll Buyers Guide

We are happy to share some insights about CloudPay drawn from our latest market research, Ventana Research Buyers Guide: Global Payroll, which assesses how well vendors’ offerings meet buyers’ requirements.  

In all of our Buyers Guides, we utilize a structured research methodology called the Value Index that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and vendor selection process. We evaluated CloudPay and 12 other vendors in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the vendor (TCO/ROI and vendor validation). 

Our analysis classified CloudPay as a vendor of Assurance, receiving an overall grade of B+ with a 69.4% performance. CloudPay’s best grouped results came in Product Experience at 70.0% performance and a B+ grade due in part to its B+ in Capability. In Customer Experience, CloudPay received a B grade with a 66.6% performance due to its 76.3% performance in Validation. CloudPay fully participated in the RFI process. 

CloudPay’s B+ grade in Product Experience was impacted by its B- in Manageability where it could detail the improvements and investments they are making in the manageability features of their product. Customer Experience was impacted by its B- grade in TCO/ROI where it needs to better articulate the tools available for a prospect or customer to help evaluating TCO.  

CloudPay performed best in Product Experience with a B+ grade, notably in Capability, receiving a B+ due to its strong Global and Core Payroll capabilities. In Validation, CloudPay had a wide variety of customer stories that effectively explain its commitment to customer success and support.
