We are happy to share some insights about IntelePeer drawn from our latest market research, Ventana Research Buyers Guide: Digital Communications, which assesses how well provider’s offerings meet buyers’ requirements.

We recently published four Ventana Research Digital Communications Buyers Guides, an assessment of technology providers and products that provide individual and combined Digital Communications, basic suite, platform and premium suite support. At Ventana Research, we continue to believe that, for most use-cases, there is a clear choice for digital communications for any use in your enterprise. We developed four technology assessments and buyers guides to focus on overall Digital Communications requirements as well as specific basic suite, platform and premium suite use-cases.

In all of our Buyers Guides, we utilize a structured research methodology called the Value Index that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and provider selection process for digital communications. We evaluated IntelePeer in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the provider (TCO/ROI and provider validation).

In the Digital Communications Basic Suite Buyers Guide, our analysis classified IntelePeer as a provider of Merit, receiving an overall grade of B+ with a 74.4% performance. IntelePeer’s best grouped results came in Product Experience at 76.9% performance and a B++ grade due in part to its A- in Usability. In Customer Experience, IntelePeer received a B grade with a 65.9% performance due to its 70.6% performance in TCO/ROI.

IntelePeer’s B++ grade in Product Experience was impacted by its B+ in Reliability, where it could improve on its architectural elements to support higher availability and system design for scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B- in Validation, where it can expand its services to address customer-centric requirements.

IntelePeer performed best in Product Experience with a B++ grade, notably receiving an A- in Usability due to its ease of collaboration and communication capabilities and expertise in leveraging intelligence tools to reduce workload and increase process effectiveness. IntelePeer’s B grade in Customer Experience was supported by appropriate tools and examples to evaluate TCO, leading to its B+ in TCO/ROI.

In the Digital Communications Platform Buyers Guide, our analysis classified IntelePeer as a provider of Merit, receiving an overall grade of B+ with a 74.2% performance. IntelePeer’s best grouped results came in Product Experience at 76% performance and a B++ grade due in part to its A- in Usability. In Customer Experience, IntelePeer received a B grade with a 65.9% performance due to its 70.6% performance in TCO/ROI.

IntelePeer’s B++ grade in Product Experience was impacted by its B+ in Reliability, where it could optimize various performance management capabilities and bring enhanced tuning capabilities for scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B- in Validation, where it could align its breadth and quality of services with customer requirements and showcase key case studies and references on its website.

IntelePeer performed best in Product Experience with a B++ grade, notably in Usability, receiving an A- due to its flexibility to adapt to UI requirements from a variety of roles and use of digital technologies to offer intelligent notifications and software management. In Customer Experience, IntelePeer’s readily available tools and documents for buyers to evaluate TCO for the platform, along with clear examples of investments made to optimize the platform, led to its B+ in TCO/ROI.

IntelePeer did not meet the inclusion criteria for the Digital Communications Premium Suite and Digital Communications Overall Buyers Guides and thus was not included.

This assessment was based on Communications Automation Platform, v. March 7, 2024 Release, and was available in March of 2024.
