Our assessment finds that Oracle, even with its overall Value Index Leader status, could slightly improve its performance in Adaptability, where it ranked third, by addressing adaptability and the process integration with applications beyond its own that may be used in an organization. Oracle can also improve the information and tools it provides on its investment in TCO/ROI and cost structure for adoption and deployment of its application.
This assessment was based on Oracle Fusion Cloud Compensation 23A and was available in January of 2023.
Oracle, like all compensation management vendors, should ensure they continue to focus on capabilities beyond the core that will only continue to increase in their importance to buyers, like prescriptive analytics, proactive pay equity management, and creative and personalized compensation plans that are becoming increasingly more complex.
