Recurly was categorized as a Vendor of Assurance, ranking 17th overall in this Value Index evaluation. It ranked 17th in Product Experience where it performed best in Adaptability, placing 13th. It ranked ninth in Customer
When compared to all vendors in this Value Index, our assessment finds that Recurly could improve in Capability, where it ranked 17th, by better supporting usage data mediation and dunning and collections. In Usability, where it ranked 17th, it could examine ways to make repetitive tasks easier for users. Recurly could perform better overall in this evaluation by addressing its Manageability performance of 43.3% with improved configuration and technology administration. Recurly’s strongest performance came in TCO/ROI at 73.3% where it did well with benefits and strategic value.
This assessment was based on Recurly Subscriber Management and was available in March of 2023.Recurly, like all vendors in this market, should ensure they are tracking the needs and expectations of consumers including business customers, as more organizations outside of the traditional digitally native industries continue to evolve their use of mixed revenue models including subscriptions.
