In all of our Buyers Guides, we utilize a structured research methodology called the Value Index that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and provider selection process for digital communications. We evaluated RingCentral in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the provider (TCO/ROI and provider validation).
In the overall Digital Communications Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary, an Overall Leader and a Leader in Product and Customer Experience, receiving an
RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could provide more depth on its level of focus on performance and scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could provide more information on its customer commitment and product roadmap.
RingCentral performed best in Product Experience with an A grade, notably in Usability, where it received an A due to its overall focus and work in intelligence, accessibility and investment. In Adaptability, its focus on the customization, APIs and investment were key to its rating. In Customer Experience, its B++ rating was led in TCO/ROI by the overall information available information for making an investment.
In the Digital Communications Basic Suite Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary, receiving an overall grade of A- with an 87% performance. RingCentral’s best
RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could make improvements necessary towards performance optimization measures. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could highlight more case studies and showcase a product roadmap that clearly addresses buyers’ future needs and current challenges.
RingCentral performed best in Product Experience with an A grade, notably receiving an A n Usability due to its well-defined UI for greater UX and strong investments in demos for improvements. Also, adopting intelligent tools increases the grading in this category. RingCentral’s quality and resources offered to buyers to prepare a business case give it an advantage, thereby achieving an A- in TCO/ROI.
